Forged Pistons

From what I gather finding forged pistons for my T500 or your GT750 is a fruitless endeavor. It doesn't have to be that way. Limited runs are available from Wiseco and others. My Banshee tuner mentioned a limited run and I thought it might be a good thing to investigate.
If 50 identical forged pistons were available what spec would be best? Think for a moment about other components that could be introduced like rods. Longer, shorter? Piston pin location could be defined based on a substitute rod.
Right now we are guessing it would cost $80 per piston to make them. That's a guess. If these pistons are made they would sell for a fair price. I need a set for what I'm doing.
So what about it? Give me the spec!

I thought they were available form the UK Wiseco distributor, or does someone need to pony up for another batch to be run?
And cast pistons are available in the UK too.

If you are going custom, go Wossner, I beleive a lot less need to be ordered and a much better forged piston. First or second over......

The New Wiseco's were available all over Ebay last year.Every now and then they have the old style with the trapezoid top ring but everyone that has them think they are made of Gold.

I have a few of the old style but there aren't any Wrist pins available I don't think?????? I was able to come up with a set of 2mm oversize that I thought I would Use just for Shits and Giggles to bump my Displacement up to 520cc one of these days or go to 780cc on my gt750 if I could come up with another Piston.
Like Moo says try going with Wossner.that is if you can't find the New Wiseco's.
Substitute rods would have to be Manufactured for a stroker motor.I've looked over just about every Rod Suzuki Made without success of finding one that would match up.I finally came to the conclusion the Benefits just wouldn't be worth it.

I have a set of early style Wisecos for a GT750 with teh L shaped rings. They do need to be relieved slightly to clear the thrust washers on the wrist pin to fit a later style crank.
There a little heavier than the latest Wisecos, but that's not a problem for a street motor

I had a set of Wiseco's in a GT750 with the L rings and i ended up pulling them out as the rings kept getting stuck without the self cleaning rocking action of keystone type rings .
