wiseco piston advice

i bought a wiseco piston for my t250. the pins for the rings do not line up with the grooves,
but are half buried in the ring lands above the groove.
they are not recessed into the piston either but sit flush to the ring land.
the wrist pin bores are very poorly machined as well.
i've never used wiseco pistons so don't know if this is standard issue.
it appears to me as a production screwup that should have never left the factory.
to top it off i bought this on sept.14, shipped on 17th with tracking, sat in customs for a while and i received it today, oct 14. the seller lived 1 1/2 hrs away. i could have had it the same day.
apologies for the photo size.

That looks like a stock cast piston to me. And that's how the stockers locator pins usually come.

Those look like rather big pins but they look like they are in the right place at the top of the groove.

The ring ends should also have the cutout in them for the pins , make sure and install the rings right side up so they match up with the pins . I wonder if they have to have wiseco rings ?
