Lane, That's a novel solution that I had not worked through yet. Thanks for the tip.

All my 34,36 and 38mm carbs have 42/43mm OD outlets which is way smaller than stock BS40's

Do you ever have any fuel delivery problems? I've heard the vaccuum diaphragms don't pump as much as open petcocks, but was going to run them on mine anyway...

Only if you have an early production 1974. There's a service bulletin about the problem.

Many people believe and claim that their bike sucks more gas than the petcock can provide. I thinik most of them are dreaming. If that were a problem, I'd just put in the largest float valve. The vacuum petcock is fine IMO.
