T500 crank rebuilding in the US.

Post by datsunrides »

I got my long sitting T500 motor installed and *running* in a GS500 chassis. Problem is when I started it oil was coming from the left cylinder out of the port and pipes fairly heavily. I don’t recall any issues before I pulled it but it has been sitting until now for quite a few years. It has cleaned up quite a bit but I am assuming the center seals are bad. Figure I’d send a spare crank to get rebuilt but would like someone reputable here in the US. Recommendations?

Bune is highly recommended. They do lots of Suzuki cranks & have done several of mine.

I’ll give them a call next week and see what they say. Do they or can they supply the seals and bearings if needed?

Ask them. I supplied the parts for the cranks they did & didn't ask what the options are.
