coolant level

hi - i’ve noticed there is no coolant visible when i look down the filler cap but there is plenty in the overflow reservoir - do i need to add more or am i worrying un- necessarily ? i haven’t noticed any problems when riding but having said that don’t do many miles on the bike - Gt 750j

The owners manual has a drawing & instructions.
When you look down the filler tube, you see a plate that seems to serve no purpose. That’s the level plate. The coolant level should be near that when then the engine is cool.
