Jim Lomas Pipes for T500

Post by Vintageman »

Has anyone used JL chambers for T500? He has the TR500 with pics on his web site and T500 street with no PICs.

Anyone have the street version (pics?)

Has anyone tried either say on a stock/near stock set of cyls. What did it do... Emphasize current power band, Added a little to top while still broad, or Road Race narrow band hard hitting?

Thanks

I have zero experience with Jim Lomas 500 pipes but I have an RD350 in the shop with his pipes and they are beautifully made. They are very similar to the set of Dave Swarbrick race pipes for a TZ750 cylinder and MOTA suggests that they would emphasis the top end.

No idea if his 500 pipes are similar or if they are centered on lower RPM performance.

I am waiting on Jim Hinshaw from Fast from the Past to send me PIC. JL is sending him a street version for T500. But, as of last week he said JL is behind schedule and no update as to when it will come in.

If I get a pics I will post.
