Hello, I have installed VM34 aftermarket carbs on my BIMOTA GT. I figure they require quite a ig hand on the throttle control ( I am using early GT cable splitter). Does anyone have recommendations and sources for lighter springs? If my theory is right, cutting the original springs does would make them harder (spring rate becomes stiffer with less windings if everything else remains the same)
Thanks for your inputs

Re: VM34 slide springs
Hello Wolfgangh,
I too found the std. VM springs too heavy using a twin pull throttle set-up. I went back to Allens Performance the UK Mikuni agent who supplied the carbs and they were able to supply lighter springs. You should be able to do the same.
Cheers Geoff
