What type of hill climbing are we talking about here .. road race type or dirt ?

Undoubtedly "road race". AFAIK, Switzerland has a ban on circuit racing, which has been the case for decades. To circumvent this there are several "Hill Climb" venues on closed roads. Typically a UK speed hill climb takes place in the grounds of a stately home on the adapted drive way (Google: Preston, Wiscombe Park, Shelsey Walsh etc.) and a "run" is usually under 60s. Swiss hill climbs are usually much longer and go up mountains.

All weak sauce compared to Pikes Peak :mrgreen: Hoping to do it in 2018 on a KTM 500 too bad they paved the top section which was dirt :cry:
