Well it's only the left pipe....might work on a 250 of some sort, but Ocelot pipes are quite rare so finding mates will be difficult if not impossible.

I doubt that many people had those pipes or the dimensions. There are better pipes available if you are going to copy, but they are all different.

It all depends on how you plan to modify the ports and where you want the power to occur.

For example, JR PowerPipes make a big hit at about 6,000 and then just go flat. Shorten the head pipes spreads the power and makes a wider powerband. Jemco are popular in the US but they are not designed for high RPM either.

For less power but a nicer/more fun sound you could make a set of 3 into 1 pipes with large volume muffler to keep the noise down.

Ask that eBay gent to measure the length of the two cones and diameters of large end at least. He can't do no more than say "no" ,or "buy it". say you are interested simply to keep vintage history alive and a non profit organization.

He's never going to sell one pipe.....he'll end up throwing it out. Wait until the sale ends, and offer him $25 to help him out. Alternatively get some dimensions of something else from one of the guys on here....Allspeeds, Jemcos etc, which are all better looking than that Ocelot anyway in my opinion.
If none of that works...I'll give you the dimensions of these...[*]Image[*]

This is also a good option, but I already wrote to the seller about the size. Can and will answer)))If you do not respond, then ....His delivery is 42$ ,and still need to transport pipe to Russia.Putin brought the country, for$ 1 =80 rubles...why Ocelot? At that time they were the best and I think their pipe really worked well. And of course they are easy to make.I found 3 or 4 options chambers, but they are more complex to manufacture than Ocelot.Though of course the pipes Ocelot can work in a very narrow rpm range. And I still have to redo them, under a different swingarm with monoshock and a wider wheel...

The Ocelot doesn't have a centre section, but other than that they don't look any easier to make than anything else.
The centre section is the easiest section to make to be honest, as it's basically just a piece of tube !

the middle part,is of course very simple, but will have to do twice as many transitions ,cone-tube-cone...I Have very little experience in the manufacture of the chambers. If only to try hydroforming. I doubt that I will be able beautifully to make for example a tube of..............Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached.

VF....you don't have to make a tube....buy the tube ready made ! Just cut the shape and size you need. If you are going to start from scratch, ie. a flat sheet of steel, you will need to create a beam compass to draw the template for the cones. The difficult job will be rolling those flat templates into cones if you don't have use of a sheet metal roller.

Oh my gosh, buy pipe from steel capiranno and remake them under the cone is much easier than bending steel sheet....I never thought about it even.Thank you!!!You have helped me!I was getting ready to cut out the pattern from paper ,glue and weld the pieces. And what thickness pipe you take for the manufacture chambers?

We use 0.9 mm for the cones. The centre section is usually thicker than this, as it depends what is available.
