TS250R TUNING QUESTIONS

I am fiddling with my recently acquired TS250. I have cleaned the carb ultrasonically and all the little holes are nice and clear and clean. The next task is to check and set the float height. At the moment, I don't have access to a service manual for this bike so can anyone help with measurements for setting the float height?
Also, in terms of ignition timing specs, can anyone give me the figures I need in mm BTDC - as opposed to degrees BTDC?
Thanks for any help with this neat wee girl.
Mike

Float level =
15.2 between float arm and main jet fitting seat

Sorry - Don't thank me yet. I was thinking T250R, not
TS250R, when looking for your answers.
I corrected my earlier post (Float is 15.2), and for some reason, they didn't include the TS250 timing in the manual.

For carb specs see Service Bulletin Specification-6. See Specification-8 for pic of float measurement.

Info on setting PEI timing is in Service Bulletin General-7.
PEI timing specs are in Specification-4.

Am not an expert on the TS-series, but the specs state the PEI black box provides rpm-related advance.
Timing is set by aligning marks & confirmed by using a timing light + degree wheel.

Thanks for the extra info. I had a play with her on the weekend. Put in a new needle and needle jet, set the float height and turned the oil pump down a tad. She's running a lot better now. Had her out for a run on Saturday and she was fun to ride ... till I ran out of gas. Still, I guess manuals and forums don't cover everything
