:D I watched Johns clip a couple times and couldnt read the times flashing up at the finish line. I couldnt understand how Richard knew you ran 13.2 I figured my eyes had gone completely and then realized you posted your time in the comments section.

13.2 is a very decent time. You should come to Martin, MI in September and give Richard a run for his money......( sorry Richard). That would be a great and exciting matchup!

Good stuff John!

Thanks WC!

I just wish I didn't live at 5000ft, the BP is usually at 6000ft at the track, that sucks.....LOL.

I don't drag race much, just had a wild hair......

Picture CD arrived today and not a of of good pics on it - probably because I need to learn how to ride it better, but here's one of the ones that looks least like a Sunday afternoon ride.

Image

Notice, headlight on, side stand in place, stock footpegs, horn, stock radiator, license plate etc. You don't need a full on drag bike to go racing and have some serious fun.

Kevin, we should post the dates of the Martin MI race in September and see if we can get all teh midwest GT riders to ride in on their bikes or trailer them in at least. Then we can see if we can convince some Yamaha twin riders to come along to see what it's all about.

If not, I may have to lend Cindy my RZ to see if we can grab a GG/S record.

Very cool stuff Kevin and Richard! Both classic bikes in a class of their own. Kevin your launches are inspiring. I think Richard on the verge of dipping int the 12's is fantastic! I will try and make Martin at least for the ride in to watch the races. I would have to study the rules to see which class I would fall under, but I am certain the chassis mods on my FT750 push it into a class that that WE are not ready for. I really like the street class Richard is racing in.... truly bad ass affordable two-stroke racing! I might have to find another GT750.

If you have a bolt-on swing arm, you will likely fit into Stock or Modified depending on your carbs.

Looking forward to seeing you at Martin. Stop by and say hello! We are easy to find.

Bolt on swingarm, front end, ported, base plate, copper head gasket, jemco's, 34mm Keihin flat slides. 2" shorter wheel base than stock and NOT safety wired. I think I know the answer.

I would like to, I started work on my bike but got involved with other projects. If the race was in Indy again there would be a much better chance of me making it. Now I am gearing up for MotoGp weekend next week.

SuzukiDave, You planning on being there - that is awesome.

We should see if we can mange to get some shots of our two street bikes lined up to race. That would look cool.

I'd better get some more practice before someone claims that record back  :)
