32mm jetting.
If you have an early T500, (1970), with 32mm carbs, is there any reason why you can't remove the round 150 main jet, and replace it with the later 97.5?

Isn't the first generation of 32mm carbs "homopressure". If so, they are jetted quite differently because of the different float bowl pressure compared to regular VM type carbs and it's pressure differential between the venturi and float bowl that pushes fuel onward and upward.

I have zero experience with these early model 32s. Are jets available in increments of 2.5 like the later ones?, and what are people changing up to when running chambers and pods?

'72 and older have the homo-pressure carbs, with the bowl vented at the mouth of the intake. '73 and newer have standard carbs, with the bowl vented to atmosphere.
The older carbs need the larger 150 Main Jet. Even when mated to a '73 or later engine.
The large round Main Jets are available in 2.5 increments.
