correct ohms reading for gt380 coils

I'm curious if you are experiencing a running or misfire problem? By your numbers, the coils are probably ok. On the top of the coils where the HT plug wires go into the coil, they are sealed and held into place with epoxy. You should not have continuity in that area or anywhere along the plug wire, just the end of the plug wire where the copper strands are.

i have been experiencing misfiring and i am nailing it down to probably incorrect ignition components. The main one is that all three sparg plug caps were zero resistance, but my plugs are non-resistor. Also, the cables look really old.
But you have answered the question about the tiny holes where the HT leads go into; the point of contact is at the very end, i gather.
yes. normally they are sealed with aryldite. But not mine.

My problem now is that i have slightly large new HT cable which i bought a meter of, but it won't fit into the holes.

In Beirut, there is not exactly an environment here conducive with fixing an old bike.

thanks so much about telling me the coils were ok. At least that excludes them now.
