Dave,
I just noticed that the coolant drain on the pressure side of the pump has been modified. Do you think Kris did this to reverse the coolant flow somehow? Somewhere on this forum I read that reversing the coolant flow can help with HP. Whats your take on this...
Im not exactly sure how he gets that to work...

Re: "Pork Chop" Cranks for GT/TR750
located it here in Australia
now have a big hole in my bank account
haven't decided which engine to put it in yet
Barton in sidecar or the tr750
was supplied with a new set of mains
that definitely was a bonus
the other option is to look at laser or water cutting and make a second crank

H1 with a steroid overdose
apparently the tyres of the day struggled with the brutal power delivery
not a short circuit crank I should imagine

Re: "Pork Chop" Cranks for GT/TR750
This is interesting, coming from the "Kawasaki" end of the spectrum. The H2, and H2R's had porkchop cranks. And both the factory and private racers actually went the other way to full circle cranks for testing. Neither found enough improvement to change over. The KR 750 race engine did go to a full circle crank, though it was really too late to compete with the reed and 4 cylinder Yammi TZ's.
I can see a big drop in CC compression, and am not sure even big new modern pipes (that like low CC compression) can handle that much of a reduction. Has there been any computations to see just where the CC compression will be?
