were abouts do you live tz? i live about 30 miles north of racine. If it was easier for you i could pick them up and ship them down to you. im down in that area for school about once a week and i could make a little detour.
I got the carbs for what i think is a steal. i payed 100 bucks for both carbs and was able to make my own cable ends so that i could use my stock throttle cable. what did you guys end up doing for your cables?
I had to get 2 sets so i could assemble 3 carbs , i paid $50 for 1 set and $57 for the other + shipping of course . I havent worked out the cables but i was hopeing to use the stock cables . viewtopic.php?f=5&t=3953" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

well if you guys have access to a lathe what i did was drill a very small hole in a piece of steel just a little bigger than the cable, then i machined the outside to the original OD on the cable end. I used the slide height adjustment from the flat slide tops and had to cut my original cables shorter. Then i simply soldered the ends on and cleaned them up with a file. So far they have worked very well.

The bike is a 73 T500 with VM 32 carbs. Where should i start with the jetting? Im guessing it is very lean right now but i just dont know how many sizes to go up on the mains and pilots. Can anybody give me a clue as to were to go?
thanks

that looks to be the same pipes that i have on my bike. mine came with plain steel silencers. they started out quite but now all the packing is blown out and they are LOUD! pipes cost me $630.00 and that included shipping.
