Put your name in this post of you are going or racing. If racing please state what you are going to ride and add a pic of your bike in process or completed.

Any other cool info for VMD as well.

Definitely going to VMD. I will be racing provided I can get through the Apex to Apex race school at Beaverun (PA) and a couple of WERA races some time before Mid-O.

Here's the bike and a shot of the Sundial team from 2008:

Hey Eric - is Otis going to be racing in 2009? We could take the race school together is he is ready...

I dunno how top secret it's gonna be if we also visit the NA 2 Strokes board! :D

Did you see my reply re cranks? I'm heading down to NC for turkey day and could drop off a turned stuffer crank for you to study if you like - just have to meet me in Roanoke. Kind of cool that Kris B is posting on that board.

As for the T250 based part - don't get me wrong but - aren't you a bit tall for a T250 based race bike? You'll look like one of those circus bears on one of those little bikes only not so hairy!

And your record on T250 bikes at Mid-Ohio isn't too great either.

I am going to try to get down there this year, although my plans can quickly change with work and things at home. If i am racing it would be on my '79 RM125 on the MX track.

Hey DiamondJ, is that a Yamaha Seca tank on the bike?

Hey Lane,

It's an RD350LC tank:

Todd's beautiful TR250:

The bike seized while Zook-e was racing it at mid-O a few years back (5 or 6 years ago I think).

Hey Todd - you still have this one? I remember the Swarbricks that Dave welded up for it were particularly nice!

Going to let the "cat out of the bag". Hybrids are legal as long as the components fall in the cutoff date. So my idea was okayed. It will be called the "Sundial"

T250/T350 bottom end with four bearing crank, RD350 topend with reed valves. All in a Suzuki frame. Little tricky but doable.

Sweet! A T350 frame I assume? Any chance you'll be running TC305 style high pipes? Pictures????

T250 and T350 frames are the same. TC pipes I don't want to do with the large dwell section to fry my legs. Low pipes. Pictures when things happen. Just have pics in my mind and I do not have a USB port in my head.

For 2009 season I've made some changes, namely running a lightened crank by 6 lbs without stuffers, and gone to 36mm carbs. First outing this year was incredible, engine spins up much faster with less rotating mass, and the 36mm carbs worked better right out of the box than the 34's did.
