A video I took with use heading northwest on Hwy 28 in North Carolina. At the end of the video we are stopped at the junction where turning right will take you in the area of Fontana Dam. I forgot to secure the tether on the camera so its hitting the helmet and making a clicking noise. The bikes you can see in this video are an SV1000 an RG500 and a RZ350. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jn9xPEK ... e=youtu.be

Nice rideout Allan. Good weather there - unlike ours now - bloody cold in the UK.
Just shows a well maintained old 'un (bike) can hold its own with modern stuff.

OLD???? that Skoal Bandit RG is definitely not slow. It will easily annihilate a lot of modern stuff with engines equal to or greater than its CC size. It was merely loping along in that video. Speeds always look a lot slower in videos, on average we were between 60 to 70 mph in the video, a comfortable speed for the group.
