Hi all, recently bought a TS 125 that runs great, main problem I have is that the fork tubes are pitted, is there a good way to fix this or do I need to get a new, or good used set to replace them.

does anyone know what others will interchange with the originals?

Start looking for a good used set of forks on Ebay, other years and models may work but it would take some research. You could get yours rechromed but I would think it would cost quite a bit more than a good used set and possible wouldn't hold up as well.

There is a compagny in UK called pitted forks that rebuild then back to factory specs. They charge 90£ for it. Some one simmilar must be possible in US. I'd rather have them rechromed then chasing sechoind hands half pitted bend ones on ebay.

Cheers

Wow, for that much I'd just buy a new set from Forking by Frank, maybe $225 for new tubes.

Hello Kubla,
I was able to get new genuine Suzuki forks legs when I replace the pitted one on my TS125. Worth checking with your Suzuki dealer to see if they still list them for your particular 125,

Cheers Geoff

Why didn't you just buy a new pair from Frank's Maintenance and Engineering in Evanston, IL and avoid the hassle?

They're the only ones offering replacement stock tubes, and the five sets I've bought all fit perfectly.
