fork assembly

Post by Ben »

Need help with reassembly. 90% sure this is how the lower cartridge came out. Is piston right or collared end down?

The allen screw at bottom of fork lower screws into this assembly, but is this assembly inside the inner chrome tube?

Parts fiche not particularly helpful....Not pictured is the inner tube, spring, spring spacer tube, and 2 spring retainers one which is split. any difference where I use the split retainer?

Any guidance appreciated.

I reinstalled however the foremost piston piece I flipped around so the end with an edge sits at the end of the inner fork tube. ..not sure thats right but made most sense to me...
