RV125l front indicators

Post by malky »

Hi all just been fitting a set of indicators to the RV125 and while the back ones were easy - light and dark green wires - the front are causing some head scratching as we have a light green wire but no dark green one and there are no other loose wires in the headlamp can someone have a look in their headlamp and see where the indicator wires plug in to please I thought the RV125 wiring would be easy after working on kettles but this has got me beat.

Do you have a wiring diagram?

Was a bit curious so I checked out the wiring on ebay.
The RV125 uses a short lead wire, part # 36811-27610. Don't know what its for but it may be what you need. See:

Ive been trying to find a wiring diagram online but so far have failed -I can make that lead up but I still dont know where it plugs in to - come to think of it I think there was a short lead in one of the boxes

You probably should look at the wiring diagrams for both the RV90B & RV125B.

These diagram aren't necessarily 100% correct.
On the RV125B diagram for example, I noticed the Gr wire (AC hot) is labeled as B/W when connecting to the voltage regulator. But B/W wire is used for the ground elsewhere.
The RV90B diagram does not have this mistake.

Also, the ignition switch will differ for your bike. These "B" models are setup for the lights to be on all the time.

Alpha Sports lists the flasher as discontinued. http://www.alpha-sports.com/suzuki_parts.htm

You should be able to use a generic 6V flasher.
