hi Rick, I am trying to find two 18 inch ali rims with a forty spoke count at reasonable prices ,to lace to the hubs of the H1 i am reserecting ,i would idealy like to find a pair with one at 2.15 width and the other between 2.15 and 3.0 wide.
i would consider any rims shouldered or not.
as i already have the hubs and will respoke with s/s.
if you know of any i am all ears.
thanks mark

I believe that most all Kaw and Honda models had 40 spoke counts. Yam and Suzuki used 36 count, as a general rule. The Honda line should provide a fairly large range to check out. Or get New, from Buchanans, or Component Wheel in England. Merry Christmas Mark, and to all the rest. All the best for 2012!!

Yep, you should be able to find a blank modern shouldered Akront 40 holer with no probs.
Not cheap, mind you, but fairly available.
Takasago or DID may have something that would be (relatively) cheaper than the Akronts....maybe.
Good luck with your project.
