My name is Rick, I'm in tacoma.
My dad, "helping" with my old japanese bike, uh.... "hobby" drug this old ts100 to my place a couple years ago.
I put it up for sale to be rid f it, but between how much was still there and my boy getting big enough to ride it, and that we lost my dad last year changed my mind.
So I started buying parts on ebay. I got it to fire off (sans carb)
I still need a carb and a tach would be nice, as well as lights, but not really necessary. None of the stuff my dad brought over had titles, so I'll get to screrw around with all that too.

Welcome to the forum. And condolences on losing your father last year.

Some Suzuki dealers have online parts manuals that you may find useful.
Here is one: https://www.partzilla.com/catalog/suzuk ... 1980/ts100

To post pics on this form: first post the pics on a photo sharing site (I use Flickr), and then include links to those pics in your posts here.

Good luck & have fun with the build.

Welcome in Rick. These restos come to try us, that's for sure.
Condolences for your Dad, sounds like he was a good guy.

Regarding a carburetor, there's plenty on ebay - on this side of the pond at least, but I'm sure a search on there will turn something up at a reasonable price closer to you, even if it's a new chinky replacement.

Yeah. not so much a restore as just get it riding again.
I've ordered quite a bit of stuff already, some new, some used.
It will run on it's own with the carb i stuck on it, but it's not the right carb, so it acts lean (ts185 carb with the ts100 jets, i think the needle jet is way off)
So far I still need a muffler, I want a taillight, and I should go through the forks.
Kinda wanna put better shocks on it but dunno if it's worth it yet.
