Hi lads n Lassies,my names Paul from Bonny Scotland (most of the time)!

HAPPY NEW YEAR,YES,STILL CELEBRATING IT!, ANY EXCUSE?

Recently bought a Suzuki TS50ERKD 1983 Red

Had the same sort of Bike when I was 16/17, albeit it was Blue and a 81 W reg.possibly still about but it was sold 2 years after I sold it and never been motd/Taxed since, probably in someones garden shed or great scrapyard, who knows?

I only had it a year, crashed it on Black Ice, got a bit of a fright,no damage other than a bent gear lever which straightened out nicely after a bit of heat applied to it!
However my lovely mother in her infinite wisdom knew something had happened when I sheepishly put it in the garden shed and didnt go on it for a few months.
Made me sell it after confessing her dislike for Motorbikes.
If she knew Id bought another one 40 years later I'd still be getting it in the neck lol!

Anyhoo I need a few bits for its total rebuild, after some advice of where to forage for bits other than ebay!?
Id like a BIg Bore kit but no idea which is best?was thinking an 80cc kit.
Same with a performance exhaust?
I have chrome indicators, would prefer original Black, has one badly cracked right hand panel.
Missing the battery bracket, holder and battery, some engine cover screws
Best Tyres to put on it,can you put bigger chunkier tyres as Im 6ft 2 and 19 stone hence the requirement for big bore kit.
I want to use the bike regularly, not keep it as a show piece.

Other than that just needs a lot of TLC!

Glad to have joined you all in the 2 Stroke Club!

PS I have a 100% rebuilt Kawasaki AR125 1989,so addicted to two stroke sound and smell! lol!,was told bits are easier for an ER but not found that so far.

Welcome in! Ebay or google search are your best bets.
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.
