Regulator Issue?
I have a 77 GT380, it has been acting funny lately. It starts fine, and runs fine until i stopped for gas, then it would not start. The lights no longer worked, and the plugs had no spark. i waited for about an hour or so, then it started. any idea what this could be? i read somewhere if the voltage regulator was bad, the ignition coils could get too hot.

Re: Regulator Issue?
I never noticed the ignition key being hot, but i am going to check the battery and regulator today. i will also clean up all the earth connections. Hopefully i will be able to diagnose the problem today.

Re: Regulator Issue?
Turns out there was a loose connection in the battery connector clip. Should have been the first place i checked.

Don't worry, it happens more often than you think!
