I've done a fair bit of searching and there seem to be some things out there for the bigger T's or the old T20, but nothing for my 1970 T250. Anyone aware of an electronic ignition system for my bike?
Thanks,
Aaron
Does anyone make electronic ignition for a T250?

For most folks, points are fine eh ? Is there a specific reason you are wanting to make a change ?

Yes, my points cam is pitted to hell and I would be nervous using it, along with the fact I need new points and condensers (bike has been sitting for a loooooong time). By the time I would add up the cost plus the time of finding a cam, if there is an electronic system available for a reasonable cost it would make more sense.
Or, if I happen to fall into a new cam then I'll just stick with points but so far I've had no luck.

Marcel's stuff is good and I've bought many other items from him and he offers great service - of course there is usually an ouch factor when importing. That unit is $250 CDN plus the shipping and GST which you may or may not consider affordable. You could try and roll your own - take a look at Richard's site:

The link for Marcel's hotparts is: http://www.classicsuzukiparts.nl/hotparts/?lang=en
NewTronic is another option. The twin cylinder model goes for around $200 US.
They have a unit for the GT250/T250: http://www.newtronic.co.uk/newtronic/system/index.html
HVCcycle is in the US. They used to sell NewTronic but have stopped doing so.
Newtronic occasionally lists their products on eBay but I didn't see any listed this morning.
Call NewTronic to order it. Contact info: http://www.newtronic.co.uk/newtronic/index.html
