Hi all, I am just trying to figure out if this is what they normally do or if something is wrong- the indicators just turn on when you indicate, they don't flash, is this normal for classics? the lenses are also red, I don't think I can register it here like that. will have to find out. thanks

Do they flash at high rpm?
I used to have that problem but they would flash at high rpm. like the flasher relay unit needed more power to work properly.

In the US, front turn signals are amber for all years. Not sure what year US Suzuki switched the rear turn signals from red to amber. Red rear turn signals are allowed on bikes originally equipped with them. But don't know about Australia.

Amber lenses are still available from US Suzuki.

Rate of flashing for the stock flasher depends on current. Reasons for no flashing include low voltage, burned out bulb & wrong bulbs.

Do you have stock turn signals? LED turns signals draw very little current -- the stock flasher won't work correctly with them.

I think you will find they need to be amber in Oz. At least in ACT and NSW they have to be amber.
