Hey Gents!
My 74 T500 is complete! Problem is smoking a lot when I get on it idles just right did all crank seals new Wisco pistons.its not sucking oil from crankcase make dipstick and keep close eye on the oil level. I did rebuild on oil pump and no air in lines and adjusted pump. The oil that basting out is 2 stroke oil seems like it's to getting to much oil?
Thanks!

Go for a 20 mile run on it and burn the oil off.

It may just be from oil residue in your pipes. I agree with Alan, run it for a while and see if it calms down. If not, and you haven't already cleaned the exhaust system, try that.

I see you say you rebuilt the oil pump. Sometimes problems can occur if the actuator arm is not put back in the correct manner. Worth a check

When I was priming oil pump it was working correctly,it's not getting over oiled at idle. First day of spring so maybe get some riding in this weekend.Going to pull chambers clean them out there brand new and a little loud in a good way Dave Higgs does nice work!

If they are brand new Higgspeeds, they shouldn't be causing the smoking. I would not bother cleaning them. I though you had stock pipes on it.
