GT750 Battery questions

I'm in the market for a new battery for my Buffalo. The few battery related threads I've read are pretty old. So, I'd like some more current advice. I have 2 questions, the first being what is the minimum amount of amps that I need and the second involves my desire to go with an AGM battery. Am I correct that an AGM won't cause any problems with the OEM charging system? For what its worth, I'm running a CDI.
While I'm at it, can anyone recommend a vendor with the lowest price?

Bought mine from Impact Battery. They replaced mine after 20 months, even though I fried a cell by wiring my alternator wrong.

I use AGM with modern Regulator/rectifier. In fact I use a tiny AGM to save weight but I don't have an electric foot fitted.

I have tried MikeXS, ebay and sometimes I just go down to our Batteries Plus store if I need one in a hurry. They are priced OK.

How's the blue and white GT coming along?

Thanks guys. I knew I could count on you and wouldn't have to wait long for a response to be posted.
Getting a dedicated battery for the Buffalo is a lot easier than pulling the one out of my '83 GS1100 and the 1st step to getting the Buffalo jetted and back on the road.
II'm sure I'll be posting more in other sections to ask for help in dialing in the jetting.

+1 I don't use anything else.. more powerful, no acid to leak out of the breather, into the exhaust.. can be put in fully charged out of the box.. need to use a trickle charger, for over winter lay ups.. don't use a normal charger...

Hi,yes would agree with the use of a trickle charger,Motobatt "little boy" charger is recommended

I use a 2AH sealed battery from Interstate battery store. It's tiny, but then again, I removed the electric starter so all I need is to flash the alternator. I still use stock regulator and rectifier.
