Electrical failure / Lost Spark GT 550

Electrical failure / Lost Spark GT 550
I had left my ignition on and killed the battery. I then jumped it with a car battery . It ran fine for a couple of minutes and then died. Lost all spark. What's the most probable place to start looking for what happened ?....Please help GT4me

Hi,I hope you haven't fried the coils 
I've actually seen them melt & drip plastic onto the cylinder head 
Check fuse..points...but if battery totally flat,you may have to buy another 
Check "kill" switch may be in off position ? But you did say it run off the car battery
