newbie needing advice
Hi there guys, I,m new to the forum.I am in need of some advice regarding my GT-750.I just recently fininshed my restoration and was out on the road, when after about 30 min the bike just died on me.No dash lights, headlight, nothing. After getting the bike back home, tested battery and was sitting at 3volts. Charged it up and the bike starts up perfectly, but a problem exists.I know something isn't correct with the charging system, but can somebody pin point it? Is the voltage reg bust?Would appreciate any input, cheers Kurt.

Re: newbie needing advice
Did the electrical system work correctly before the restoration? Is this the first time you've run the bike for an extended period after you completed the restoration?
Did you reuse all of the electrical parts?
Take a look at the connectors. Are they ok? A spade connector could have been pushed out the back of the connector.
Take a look at the alternator. Are the brushes ok?
