T500 / T350 Oil Pump Seal Kit

Post by Bloop2 »

I have put together a complete seal kit for the T500 Oil Pump, includes the correct 3 O Rings and the 2 oil seals. The seals and O rings required for the pump are not available from a single vendor. I have spent about 5 months acquiring the correct seals and O rings for this kit. Offering this kit to board members for $15.00 US, includes shipping in the price for US and Canada members, for UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, overseas from NA, please add an additional $1.00 for postage. If you were to order these individually from the different vendors, you're cost would be in the $20.00 to $25.00 range. Ordering more than 1 kit? Additional kits are $13.00 each. Payment is by Paypal in US or Canadian dollars only. Please contact me via PM or email for ordering information.

Regards....Fred

I have not checked yet, but are the oil pumps the same for years of T/GT500's? If so I would like a kit!

There are 3 different part numbers for the oil pumps depending on year, the only one being unique would be the 68 Cobra, mostly a slight difference in the aluminum casting of the pump housing. The Cobra has a slight variation in the actuator arm and stop, and the end plate for the cams. There are other variations in the aluminum housing in the 69/70 pumps and then they change again for the 71 and up. The 76/77 pumps have the same part number as the 69/70. I have disassembled pumps for 68,70,72 and 74 and they all have the same size seals and O rings. So, it would safe to say that they all used the same seals and O rings.

I got the seal / O-ring kit the other day, and just finished installing it into the oil pump. Everything was perfect, thanks again for putting this together. By the way, my bike is a T350, and the pump is exactly the same as the T500, so this will work just fine for the T350 too.

That's really good to know, I wonder if the X6/T250 would be the same also?

When you get some more kits made up, PM me! I really will buy one from you, it is getting closer to time for me to pull my engine and this will be part of the overhaul. Thanks, Robert

Thanks Fred! I also just bought the gasket
Still four available on eBay. Not from Fred but he said they are hard to find if you mess yours up.

:( Hi,Does anyone know the dimensions of the "V" oil seal fitted to the actuator shaft of the oil pump for the GT750A ? Apparently is a V type oil seal for a reason, designed to allow for movement & any misalignment in the shaft !
Cheers,
