Looking for a good polishing guy that can handle the engine on my kettle, within driving distance of Southeastern Michigan. Please let me know!

It's very easy to do yourself. Clean, wet sand with multiple grits. Starting at roughly 600, work your way up to 2k. Finish with solid compound sticks on a variable speed drill. You can buy a great polishing kit at Harbor Freight for $20. More time you spend with each grit through each stage the better it will shine. If you take your time and do it right. It can shine like chrome. If you take your time and do it right. It's somewhat time consuming. But, pleasing results. I'd say you can do all visible motor parts over a period of about a week . If you commit to it. Image

Thanks Pearljam and Battleship....looks like I'll be tackling this project myself. Besides, the cash I save here can be put into some other new parts I've had my eyes on!
