Update -- they have started selling complete oil lines with the new valves!

Are doing with a part exchange so they have a source of oil lines.
I was hoping someone would eventually do this.

Robert - they are available, and I think they should work for the GT500 and the later T500's also.

Don't know but can tell you the new Kawasaki valves work great..Even dismantled one to use the spring and ball in the one GT750 valve that is mid-line. I believe the part number is somewhere in this thread. If not, PM me and I'll get it for you. Can order from your local Kawasaki dealer. Chuck

Also, Volker in Germany is now selling a 12 piece spring and ball kit which I've been meaning to try as it provides an option for potentially repairing the in-line check valve on the GT750. The price is pretty reasonable at €11.40 (about $16 CAD) . His web site is in German, but most browsers do translation - take a look at this link .

I purchased those as well Ian just because I wanted to see what he had and I'm sometimes rebuilding Kawasaki H1 valves too. And his price seems more than fair. I think Volker's parts look good and I checked the crack pressure in one reassembled valve and it checked out fine. However, as long as the Kawasaki valves are available I would recommend those as a first choice although they aren't cheap. With the complete Kawasaki valve there is no disassembly of the valve itself required other than the one valve in the center of the line. Replacing the whole valve assembly means you don't have to worry about the seat which the ball seals against. Having repaired numerous Kawasaki valves I can attest that that seat can become problematic with wear, etc. and still leak even with a new spring and ball. It is possible to clean up the seat surface sometimes but it is a crap shoot. And even with the odd in-line valve you can use a new seat from a Kawasaki valve in the original Suzuki valve. Fits like a glove. For whatever it's worth...Chuck
