What exactly do you need for the GT750 pump ? 8)
For the GT380/GT550/GT750 pumps:
The oil seal at the bottom of the pump is available from Suzuki.
The oddly-shaped top gasket is available from the UK eBay seller, astraxuk. I think its also available from the German seller that you have to contact via email.

For the control arm shaft seal in both types of pumps:
Bloop2’s pic for the T-series kit doesn’t show the seal, but I think his kit now includes that o-ring.
The GT380/GT550/GT750 pumps has the seal, but I have no info on it.

I was actually waiting till the fellow asking the question had clarified what he or she thought they needed, however:
  • - the oil seal is available from anywhere - its just a standard seal so all you need to do is match the size
  • - the fellow in Germany is Reiner - just email him for a price list, and his contact info is found on this link, along with contact info for other suppliers I have dealt with
  • - that shaft seal is not an o-ring - it is a u-seal and finding a good replacement is proving problematic

I don't even know exactly to be honest. I had the pump out and rigged up away to spin the pump and watch the output, when I moved the pump lever to the full throttle position 4 ports remained outputting next to nothing while 2 of the ports started pushing much more oil through. I guess that's indicative of a sticking piston, but I don't trust the seals which may have been dry for a number of years. I figure if a seal kit is reasonably priced I may as well replace them.

Thanks for the leads on the parts guys, I will be looking into them!

Could be a sticking piston. Take a read through the pump section in the GT750 Shop Manual as there is some good information there. I have a copy on line at this link if you don't have one. As well Richard has done a great write-up on the pump operation which you can fine on his own site (here), and which is also cross posted on mine (here).

Hope that helps. 8)

One more useful link…

The PO had taken the pump actuator arm off of the pump on one of my GT750s. He then installed it 180 degrees out.
I had a spare pump & came up with a way to figure out how to properly orient the actuator arm.

Thanks a lot guys. I have skimmed through most of those links but with me not really being familiar with the pumps lots of it went over my head. I will have them handy when I am ready to check the pump again and have it in front of me.

For those who have rebuilt the T500 pumps are there any critical points or things to know (whether it be pulling, rebuilding, or reinstall) before I pull the pump and replace the seals?

thanks!

The small bolt used to prime the pump has left hand threads.

Beyond that, its a pretty simple & reliable design.
