Welcome to the board/
A young friend ( early 20's ) with the help of his papa is going to make a 76 GT 500 into a Cafe racer..

Looking at the registration plate - it used to belong to Santa!
Welcome to the madhouse!!
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

Hey Banana....has your 500 got some race track history? Just looking at some of the mods......rear shock mounts moved, forks dropped way through, and rearsets well back........
Keeping old 2 strokes alive !

The only track history is around the access roads at Willow Springs. My buddy was converting it to a cafe racer. Never quite finished it and parked it. The shocks are foward cause he put an Rd 400 swinging arm on it. I'm a lot taller then him. So I may put the original swinging arm on it and lower the rear sets a little. I have no plans to race it. Just fix if up and play with it in the canyons and ride it to work. I haven't ridden a two stroke for many years I'm looking foward to it!
