Summer's coming
Just completed a round trip of 50 miles for the maiden voyage to Torksey Lock in brilliant sunshine, and I'm pleased to say the bike ran perfectly after its Winter engine rebuild.
I bought the coffee & cake at the lock
And my mate Gavin bought the beer at the Pub ......

Unique grab rail. Is that off a GS model ? I've have never seen one like that. I like.

I'm not sure. I bought the bike last year as a half finished project, and it's something of a 'bitsa' that I'm hoping to get plenty of miles on in the futurepearljam724 wrote:Unique grab rail. Is that off a GS model ?
It is technically a 1978 B model though, and the last of the GTs that wasn't available in America, and does share some parts with the GS like the indicators too.

Yeah, Im aware of the B having GS parts. But, I haven't seen any B with that grab rail. That may have been a factory option grab rail that was offered on the upcoming GS models in 77. Therefore, it may have been offered for the B. But, I don't know that for sure. Just guessing.
