Suzuki 2 Strokes

Yea, I picked them up from a guy I bought my 92 RGV from 5 years ago...
A deal....I think it was....but it's all relative, my girl friend thinks I should have spent the money on a bike that actually runs at the moment.
He had these in a shed for years before I found out about them, and didn't want to sell the SP when I got the 92....
But the bikes languished even longer in the dark until this past Friday....I'm hoping to bring the SP back to life after I get the rest of my RZ painted, and my CBX back in one piece. Trying to get connected to get some original SP body work for it at the moment, but I may have to repaint back to original instead. The VJ21, will get a good cleaning this spring, and a look over to see what it's chances are.
Luckily the SP is ALL THERE as far as ALL the special parts go....never cannibalized... and does look like it will not take much to run.
I have perfect stock pipes, but I also have a set of Jolly Motos for it....not sure which way to go with that yet?

Trying to get it all pieced back together. Still need a right side lower fairing and the lower center V piece to have a complete set of factory body work. Pipes on it are JDM restricted (sleeved down) originals, just to get it fired up for the first time. The bike had not been started since shipped here over 11-12 years ago.
After doing a little work to it for a couple days, I got it smoking again. Now that I know it is running to some degree, I'll leave it set, till I get a couple other projects done first. I'll take that time to search for parts in every country that RGV's were sold.....sadly never here though

California is in a pretty bad drought, and further east everyone is getting pummeled with snow.. If I could, I'd take the extra precipitation off your hands
This is a really great thread, I'm glad I stumbled upon it. You have some really great bikes and it's a treat to see someone who attempts to tend to all of their individual needs. Keep up the top notch work!

The RZ is finished so you just shove it out in the snow to make room for a CBX?

Are those original (classic) Dymags ? Very nice.

I think I'll be tending to all my bikes needs till the end of my days....but it keeps me out of trouble anyway...

Original first generation Dymags, with original bearings in so tight I thought I'd never get them out to change. I have it posted earlier in this forum topic here. The RZ will always have a permanent indoor spot, whether in my house if needed, or here in my garage where it can mingle with my other bikes....I've owned it for almost 30 years now....

Just finished the paint on my CBX this past week. Went back to a more original look, with factory stripes over a candy red sprayed over pearl, which was on top of a silver base....

FYI.....All Aprilia RS250's used Suzuki RGV bottom ends. with rotax designed cylinders/heads....

I just said goodbye today to my NSR250R.... It's getting crated up and heading to the west coast. The guy I sold it to has way more twostrokes than me, and has a connection in Japan that I might try to work with. Maybe bring in a RZV500 or NS400R....but RG500's are out of my price range no matter what country the bike is coming from...

Slowly getting the correct original parts for my VJ22FL...Still looking for an original paint tank, and upper fairing...the SP version is near impossible. I've found most everything so far on

Cheap original parts, but expensive shipping.
But I do have the right color match paint to repaint those parts if I get tired of searching.
