I'm taking off this Saturday for a week of scuba diving, saltwater, sand, and minimal amounts of string and fabric. Maybe later in the season, I'll have a Saturday free to check it out, if you have them frequently.

Never much of anything for bikes, but cars of every conceivable thought, show up here.
I'll be in Indy for Moto GP and the Pingle Thundernationals at Raceway Park....The worlds fastest street bike class is crazy...200 MPH 1/4 with no wheelie bars and street legal tires....
Not sure what day I'm doing what yet... but will be uptown Sat night for sure, (our room is 3 blocks from Slippery Noodle) checking out the sights.

Did you make Mid-Ohio this year? I did not see your 72 750 there.

I was there with Bad Buffalo & my 72 GT750 Thurs thru Sun. I saw a few GT750's 74's & 75's but my recent barn find all original complete Teal/white 1972 GT750 was the only first year model I saw there. Sadly, I received an offer that I could not refuse and the bike is returning to Japan for full restoration. Bought on Sunday & sold on thursday morning. Oh well ya can't keep them all.

I didn't go...looked like rain all day saturday morning, so I went west to a beach at lake michigan instead. My weather app showed rain for the whole day at Mid Ohio...did it rain very much on saturday? I'm thinking of letting a few of my bikes go, as I'm getting frustrated always having to work on what ever I want to ride in some way...Buy something new...?

Yeah, on Sat morning it poured! Rain was done by 1PM. I went over Wed night and rode my buffalo all other days were great. PM or email me what you are thinking of selling. I might have room??? We have similar tastes in machines.

Long story....My Katana, had the same chain since I bought it back in 86. It was making a bit of noise when I took it out the few times I had time for it. So I decided to get a new chain. Got the chain, and went to take old chain off....and took rear wheel off at same time, to clean everything up a little better. Found out the wheels bearings were going out. so I put chain on, and rear wheel in to keep it all in one piece. Got the wheel bearings, front and rear...pulled wheels off to change bearings, and started moving swing arm around. It was tight....so I decided I should pull it off to grease bearings. As you can see the bearing were long-long gone....
So, I got the wheels all redone, and spent about 3 1/2 hours fighting the swing arm bearings to get them out....
Now I'm just waiting for the new swing arm bearings....and it should all be like new...

The Kat is done and on the road again.

Got another head for my CBX, which was a cheaper option, than redoing the valves on the original head...projects never stop....

And the long term RGV waits as it has for too many years.... I did get a set of straight plug SP heads for it though.

Straight plug heads finally showed up for the VJ22, and I got the GT750 out of my trunk and on a shelf to collect dust for a while.........until I decide what I'm going to do for a frame.

But before I tear into anything else, I have to finish the back to original repaint of my RZ. After finally getting the wheels, fork and brakes completely redone

Went black Friday shopping over this past Thanksgiving.....
Brought home a few more Suzuki two stroke treasures....

1989 RGV VJ21, and a 1990-91 RGV VJ22SP JDM

I know its hard to tell from pictures sometimes .. but those look very clean , did you get a deal .. both from the same person ?
