Thanks for the kind words.

It's taken years to get all I have so far, The RZ I bought back in 84...the Katana in 86...the CBX was literally a frame in some rafters, and a few boxes I found back in 97, which is why it's not a restoration. The GT750J is one I have been searching for, since I realized an RG500 is no longer a possibility $$$$$$

Bikes are the only addiction I still maintain...especially two strokes...!!!

Of all my bikes, my girl friend says the GT750 is her favorite....and she loves the seat. So as long as she's on it, you can't tell it's not the right one. I do have a rough condition original also.

hoping to have a title for the GT soon.....went to license branch just today.

Here's a better shot of the CBX before it got pushed back in the corner by other projects
basement%20bikes%20011[2] - Copy.jpg
It's getting rotated back in line for a big bore kit, and some valve work,....not sure if I'll repaint it back to the original siver or red.....possibly by next summer I hope

This is as far as the GT750 will be going in it's restoration for the rest of the year.... Time to start collecting more parts, and hopefully get some serious cleaning up done on it, so it will be ready to go next spring..........seriously long winters around here.
Want to ride it to the mods VS rockers in Chicago next year, and Mid Ohio vintage days, without worrying about anything major going wrong.

Yea...maybe even a original seat.............

One more for the garage.....
Not sure what I'm going to do with it after I get it running....

But if I get it running good, and decide to use it as a beater bike to do the 250 miles I drive back and forth to work every week.....the entire front, and rear end will be available (going to use early GSXR). So, if you have a GT that you want to slightly update easy...keep me in mind.

Front end is from a 91 gsxr 750...I used it instead of the one from an 1100, because they are fully adjustable and shorter. That way I quicken the steering a little, and just add stiffer springs to keep it held up. Used yamaha fazer handle bar clamps on top of the gsxr triple clamp, with drag bars...

I raised the backend a little to average it out...
But when I used to ride around with my friend who had an R1 at the time, i put a few scrapes on the pipes...
But I hung right with him everywhere we went...

Just curious Busa, what do you do in your spare time?

I've only got 3.5 550s and a 'normal' workshop to play in.

Geesh. I thought I had an illness in regard to bikes. Sweet, 1100. Less bike pics, more blonde pics.

Thanks again for the thoughts guys, it's nice to know I'm not the only one with a bike addiction.... So many Harley lovers in my area (about a 30 to 1 ratio at any kind of bike night), no one understands my bike choices. I just gave the GS750 to my kid for christmas as his first learner bike...still needs a little work, but it will probably need a lot more before he graduates to something else. I paint for a living, but my dad owned a speed shop from 1965 to 70, so I've had horsepower all around me forever. The two bikes that I really regret never owning, are the RG500 and/or RD/RZ500.....went to Canada to Parker Yamaha in Windsor, and the salesman had it all figured out on how I could get the bike into the States. But I had just bought a new 84 FJ1100 the year before, so another big bike purchase was a little worrisome for a 22 year old...A bike which I figured would always be running on illegal plates...and probably end up in a impound yard forever...
Thats where the RZ350........and my love of two strokes really hit the street.

I wish I could have the two stroke options you have, 1985 was the end of two strokes here....Just when it was really getting good...
Finding parts for my VJ22 is near impossible without crazy post costs from Ebay.co.uk...........or Yahoo Japan.
