1977 GT250X7

Post by SOman »

Have just acquired a tidy little X7. Just the thing for autumn country riding with the missus on her CB350. (the RG isn't her thing.) Seems to run well - new bearings/seals etc, but, until it's regoed, I'm stuck to quick trips around the block.

Now I have to sell something to help offset the cost........the 76 GT250 sitting in store waiting for a rebuild, or the RG250..........Damn you Ebay!

What's the trade in value of the wife?
Think out of the box (cough).
Don't be tempted to swap a 40 (for example) for 2 x 20s though.
It will lead to heartache - and heart attack!
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

I did that 40 yrs ago with a 74 Ducati 750SS! I had an SS and a GT and no money. The wife said the SS had to go or she would.......wrong choice...the SS is now worth a mint and the wife went 20 yrs later, anyway.......
