I think the key to good performance for 3 into 1 is a short collector before entering single chamber (research snowmobiles and PWC single pipe factory designs). I see Zen Shin makes one for all Suz triples. Anyone have this pipe. The GT380 looks like it has good performance potential

Suzukidave;

Is Reimo 3 into 1 available new still?

The Chen Shin is and then there is Omars/Jemco one for 3 into 1

I had contacted that company motoparts-online. They have another brand (Max) cheaper but, has no Chamber section really and long pipes before they collect into 1 .

He also showed me a black Chenshin cheaper than chrome, but the one he showed me had a different construction than the gt380 on there website. Not sure what it was for.

I tried to contact a few Japanese people on YouTube who have ChenShin (see on Kawasaki triple and they make 3 into 3 as well) No one has replied. I translate english to japense and back again so I think I asked correctly

I want to see specifically what the GT550 and GT750 looked like. I am optimistic that Chenshin from Japan may have actually tested their design for performance as well

That GT380 Chrome Chenshin looks more like what I have seen on a snowmobile for a general single pipe design. It would be great to have a 3 into 1 sound and some added performance as well. wonder what the Gt550 and GT750 looks like from ChenShin

I don't know if a 3:1 would give any performance increase over stock pipes, but I'm too old to worry about performance. I just like smell & noise! I did hear once that the TRs were fitted with a 3:1 in wet weather races to flatten out power bands.

I had not heard that before. Would love to see a picture of a TR750 with a 3 into 1 pipe.

+1 but it is interesting that after all these years working and riding these bikes all of a sudden something will pop up most of us have never seen or heard before ( like the 2 piece heads )

Yes

ZenShin out of Japan (not Chenshin sorry I keeping mixing up)

Via youtube I see used only in Japan

The one person/company selling here in USA motoparts-online.com I know of has sent me some pics for pipes on GT550, GT750 and GT380. He said he has sold a few in USA. They are pricing >$1000 and shipping was $179 if I recall.

I was hoping they had the chrome one shown for the GT380 in a similar design for GT550 bu,t so far the one shown one bike has no chamber section really and straight pipe. I asked again since both styles are shown for GT380 and GT750 and maybe he missed the one for GT550. Also stated that ZenShin makes black and chrome

I would like to also ask him what the price and order numer is for each. The web site is not specific and confusing how to order and what you would get.

I searcehd using google japan (.jp) and could not find a web-stite for ZenShin that makes these items to help sort out what isreally availble... alot of ZenShins there too

Should I compile and forward to someone, or attach to this post (have not had luck doing that but can try again).

I did a bit of sleuthing, and the company name appears to be Advance Engineering Ltd. ((株)前進エンジニアリング ) and their home web site showing a few of their products is located at http://zenshinpipe.air-nifty.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; . What I've done is add them to the Field Guide at this link: http://www.oldjapanesebikes.com/GT750_f ... -A55#pipes" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; together with some of their photos - just scroll down to the bottom. I started out trying to have these pipe suppliers in alpha order, but keep finding new ones, so I will wait for a while and then sort them out properly.

I am also trying to confirm whether Reimo sold their 3-1 pipe as an accessory, or just on their 750cc and 900cc cafe GT bikes. Anyone know ? They did sell some accessories - the chain case for example (see this link http://www.oldjapanesebikes.com/GT750_f ... e-A55#case" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) so it wouldn't surprise me, but I'd like to be sure before including it. 8)
