Some old pics I hadn't put up on my site. Just forgot I guess.
This is my 1968 Cobra project. I had ridden the bike already but had taken it down and used some parts on other bikes, so now it will be put back on the road with a 72 GT750 front end. Slight mods in other places. Using all available good parts and not really going to be a resto.
Hope to get it done for Deal's Gap. I have to get Keith Sutton's 72 GT750 done first. And hope to have some pics of his up here as well soon.

Eric, I like those pull back bars. Is that bronze bushes I can see in the swingarm? Did you have them made for you or did you modify aftermarket bushes?

Those are the bushes from Parts n More. They took very little reaming to get the inner bushes to fit properly.
The bars are 72-73 GT750.

Looks pretty whizzy, Eric. Is that the later long-type swingarm or the early short style ?? I just don't know the Cobra as well as I should....

Shocks are pretty close to vertical up and down on a short swinger Rick, you'd know the difference if you saw one!

Wow Eric, that frame paint does look great! What paint did you use? Did it lay down like that or did you polish it out? Very nice.
