I use the word "custom" very loosely because I hate all those people out there posting their "Custom" bikes on craigslist when all they've done is slap some clubmans on the bike and chopped the ass end off. Needless to say I've done a bit more than that to this Suzuki here but it's more just a fun project for me with no intent of selling it.

Here's the short list of things I can remember:
Indigan clip-ons
Bassani RD250 expansion chambers
Carbs rebuilt and upjetted with cheapo ebay pods
modified Cafe trunk from a Sachs G3 moped
new adjustable shocks
top end rebuilt with clean bore and new rings
pretty much all new electrical (still no charging though due to a bad armature coil that i can seem to get off..working on it)

random pic of it being mocked up a long time ago.

heres one right after i welded the pipes up with the stock seat.

and then some more recent photos

My garage is quite a mess right now, hence all the clutter. building an old moped right now. and trying to clean house.

Still a work in progress, but I'm good for now. Thanks for looking.

Looks good, definately different, using a GT185 as a basis. As for your charging issue, did you replace both sets of brushes? Length of the brushes is very important... no shorter than 14mm otherwise they won't make contact with the armature.

yup replaced all 4 brushes with brand new ones. I believe the armature is just slam wore out on my running bike. The one on my parts bike is in great condition, but I can't get either off the bottom end. I'm hoping to get up with a machinist this week to have him make me a puller.
