Would anyone know the actual colors the 1970's racing bikes had ie the red and black with yellow and white pinstriping???

What I would do if I where in your situations, is
drop a mail to Suzuki GB or USA and enquire about the color scheme of the
limited edition Gladius they did to commemorate the Team Heron/Texaco RGA XR22;

or more prosaically have an ordinate guess playing around with your favourite paint program trying to mix n' match the colours
Here, the red is "Red Pantone" #ED2939 while the yellow is "Com Yellow" #FBEC5D

Thanks Lorenzo good idea I am no good at the art and design side of things, some excellent help and idea's there I will follow that "good man"
