Suzuki GT750 Neuvo Retro Cafe Racer
After looking around this forum this weekend I realized it would have been a better place for me to post my current build. I have been posting over on CafeRacer.net if you are interested to take a look. I think I will start posting updates here as well but not sure it makes sense starting sorta half way through it. I guess I am just getting to the interesting parts though.

Re: Suzuki GT750 Neuvo Retro Cafe Racer
To post here is no bother so I may just as well since there is some interest. So here goes my first "official" build post following on the post to Caferacer.net
I put the painted wheels back on and now have a complete functioning rolling chassis again. Bled the brakes while I was at it and everything works as expected.
Also did some wiring and took a picture of the dash in the sunlight.
And finally fiber glassed in the holes left in the seat where the wheel hump used to be.

Some super work going on with this build....I'm very much looking forward to seeing the end result, as Tim and I are in the process of building a 750 cafe ourselves.

Taillights look great as does the rest of the bike.

Re: Suzuki GT750 Neuvo Retro Cafe Racer
Painted the bottom of the motor this weekend, will do the other side tomorrow night. Also the new "el cheapo" shocks showed up, they look mucho expensifico..much better than I had hoped. I guess we will have to see how they work first before I make a final call but they sure look nice and feel pretty solid.

Re: Suzuki GT750 Neuvo Retro Cafe Racer
Your project GT is coming along so nice , are you going to use LED turn signals ? if yes you may have to switch out the stock relay for a electronic one from the auto parts store .

Re: Suzuki GT750 Neuvo Retro Cafe Racer
The LED's are built right into the tail lights. They form a ring around the tail/brake light. I already installed resistors to stop all of them from lighting up at once whenever you use the left or the right signal. I suspect the resistors will also take care of the flasher issue but have not checked that yet. The front turn signals use regular bulbs.

Re: Suzuki GT750 Neuvo Retro Cafe Racer
I used the same solution as you did to move the rear sprocket over by machineing down the sprocket carrier , it still did limit me to a 160 tire as i went with a 530 chain 170 tire the chain would skip off it when i made right turns

Re: Suzuki GT750 Neuvo Retro Cafe Racer
Yes I am planning to run a 530 o-ring chain as well. Saw that there is one (DID I think) that is only .3mm wider than the regular 530 so plan to get one of those. I would have loved a 180 tire on the back but that would have caused many issues, shocks touching the tire on the left, chain hitting the tire, to mention the major ones.
