Trying to decide witch style chamber to use on my 73GT550. 3into3 or 3into1. Anybody got suggestions or horror stories to share. I like the Higgspeed but dont like the $1000 price tag with shipping to me. Thought about Jemcos?? Is their any others still around yet? And who make a 3into1?

My preference is 3 into 3 for what I believe, better overall performance.

I'm not familiar with those Salem witch chambers. As to which chambers to use that depends on how much top end performance you want versus mid range. Typically JEMCO 3 into 3 pipes are great above about 5500 and don't lose too much below that to a stock system and weigh a lot less than OEM.

3 into 1 reputedly makes more torque t lower revs and weigh even less than 3 chambers and the look and sound cool.

JEMCO makes a 3 into 1 I believe as well as three chamber systems. Call or email Jon Easton and ask him if that's your manufacturer of choice.

I'm running A 3-1 on my 550... Bone Stock, except bigger main jets. The Sound is fantastic! Low end is amazing... But after that the power is a little up and Down all the Way to 8000rpm But i have never tried the original or 3-3 system though...

But No doubt that If you wanna go fast, Then the only thing Right is the 3-3 system.

Thanks for input guys. Computer was down for awhile thats the reason for the slow reply. Im spoke to Jemco and I am probley going with there 3 into 3 system. They say it will make best useable power for the street. Not so sure about the 3 into 1. On severial different forems some have said great system but others say kinda unpredictable power band from mid to top end.

3 into 3 for performance.

I do like the sound of a 3 into 1 though.

I had bassani's on an RD400 once, they were loud but it went fast.
