Every once in a while, I stumble over something interesting. This is the first time I have seen or even heard about a TR750 dirt track racer. This is Pat Hennen. Just thought is was different and interesting.

Unfortunately, you cant see much of the motor or mods but that radiator looks like its jammed pretty high up there. (I agree, a little sideways never hurt anyone....not too badly anyway)! These guys were the original "drifters" My son thinks drifting is something that his generation thought up! Wait until he sees this pic! He hates it when he finds out that we did all this stuff before he was born...

Unless Pat did a bunch of mods to lighten the bike up, he's pushing a lot of beef through those corners...

I bet a XR750 Harley engine is none too light either and they were (are) in most flat trackers

Dave, I should have known you would have a picture of Pat Hennen. I went back and read the history on his life and it was amazing. It covered his pre-Suzuki Team days as well as his final race at Isle of Mann. I just thought his life and career was fascinating. I just had never seen a photo of a GT/TR750 on a flat track. I think the pic you posted is outstanding!
