Wheely good service

Post by tz375 »

Late last week I called Buchanan the spoke people and a young lady answered the phone.

I have to tell you, she was good. Told her what I needed and she checked her lists and asked a bunch of intelligent questions and took teh order.

Today a small box arrived containing the right spokes and nipples and they look good, were well packed, shipped fast and most importantly are exactly what I needed for the unusual combination of GT750 hub and deep drop center DID 3.00 x 18 rim.

One hour later and nice (almost round) wheel was sitting in the truing jig waiting for me to order a new set of hoops.

I have had many sets of spokes plated in the past and I think in future that I'll just call Buchanans and get new stainless spokes.

They are great people and the only ones I get my spokes from.
