I'm guessing a lot of time, effort and patience went into welding that exhaust!

had the left hand crank web pressed off a spare crank..........
refitted the bearing sleeve washer, bearing sleeve and needle roller bearings......
on with the starter motor idler gear......
then whats left of the starter motor clutch.........
then it's off to the engineering shop on Monday for some modifications to be carried out. There's some electrickery afoot here........

modifying the starter motor cover to clear the carbs and alternator..........
