Sorry....brakes again !

Post by titan performance »

Hello guys.....sorry to drag this one up again, but I'm gathering parts for a freshen up of one of my T500s. I want to put a twin disc front on it, and read that the Suzuki SV650 discs will fit. Foolishly, I checked nothing before parting with my hard earned for a pair on fleabay. They arrived today and to my disappointment, they are no where near a match for the GT500 front hub. For a start, they only have 5 mounting holes not 6.....need I go on?
Is there a more modern disc that bolts straight on?.....and what's the best caliper (single sided twin pot?) that will match up.

Thanks in advance.

On my GT750 I have Katana rotors. I don't remember what year they came from.

If you stroke it more than twice; you're playing with it.

Too many bikes, too much time, ENOUGH SPACE, FINALLY! Never enough money.........

EBC produce discs for the GT750/500 hub. 6 bolt pattern. I use them on the GT500 front hub I have on the Seeley.

CBR600F 2 or 3 - don't recall which. Probably CB900 as well.
